GENERAL PRODUCT INFO

Why is the Jungle Cup different?

We use the Jungle Cup® barrier to make it the most environmentally friendly single use paper cup available. To validate our cup, we have a Flustix plastic free certification and a TUV Rheinland (a very well-respected laboratory) report confirming no plastic was found.

What about Micro Plastics?

It is proven that you consume around 25,000 micron-sized micro plastic particles when drinking from a traditional plastic lined disposable cup. Jungle Cup has been tested by Intertek and confirmed to have no micro plastics. So, there is a compelling benefit to your health to use Jungle Cup!

Can I really throw this in my home compost?

Yes! Jungle Cup is accredited to decompose in your home compost bin. This has many benefits beyond composting at home and it is approved for placing in your local waste paper stream, so no matter where it ends up it can be disposed of with a significantly reduced impact on the environment, compared to your traditional disposable cups.

Is the Jungle Cup suitable for hot and cold drinks?
Yes! It can be used for cold and hot drinks from 0 to 80 degrees Celsius.

Which sizes do you offer?
4oz, 8oz, 12oz and 16oz. We can produce custom sizes on request.

What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum order quantity for our Jungle Cup is one carton. Our 8oz, 12oz and 16oz Jungle Cups fit 1.000 pieces in a carton. The 4oz size is sold per 5.000 pieces per carton.

Can I have my own logo printed on the Jungle Cup?
Yes, this is possible. At the moment the minimum order quantity for a custom print is 100.000 units. You can use 4 colours for your artwork which is printed on the cup by litho printing. You can't print the inside or bottom of our cups.

Do you also sell lids for the different Jungle Cup sizes?
If you are interested in this, please send us a message at webshop@junglecup.com.

What about the Single Use Plastic Directive?

Many EU member states have confirmed that all cups using a water dispersion coating must bear the plastic in product logo.  This is because the available tests cannot test down to 0.0000%. There is therefore the expectation that there is plastic present in industry standard water dispersion coatings.  Jungle Cup does not use an industry standard water dispersion coating. However, until we can find a test to prove there is 0.0000% plastic in our cups, the recommendation is to bear the SUPd logo. It is still the most sustainable paper disposable cup!
